Overview
CandleCalc is a static website. We don't use cookies, don't require accounts, and collect minimal data. This policy explains what little we do collect and why.
No Cookies
This website does not use cookies of any kind — no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no session cookies. Your browser may cache static files (CSS, JavaScript) for performance, but this is standard browser behavior and doesn't involve personal data.
Calculator Privacy
Our candle calculator runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No calculation data is sent to any server. Your inputs, results, and shared links are processed locally on your device. We cannot see what you calculate.
Hosting & Analytics
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic server-level data (IP addresses in server logs) as part of their standard hosting service. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies. It collects anonymous, aggregated data (page views, referrers, country) without identifying individual visitors.
Contact Data
If you email us via our contact page, we receive your email address and message content. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list, share your email with third parties, or use it for marketing.
You may request deletion of any correspondence by emailing us. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Search Console to monitor how our site appears in search results. This service does not collect any user data from our visitors — it only provides us with aggregated search performance data from Google's index.
International Visitors (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under applicable data protection laws including: the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and the right to restrict or object to processing.
Since we collect minimal data, these rights are straightforward to exercise. Contact us at our contact page for any data-related requests.
California Residents (CCPA)
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents have the right to know what personal data we collect (almost none) and to request its deletion.

We may update this policy if we add new features or services. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
